1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Syncshot application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Syncshot provides a desktop session synchronization and management tool for macOS. It captures open applications, window positions, and active states to allow users to restore their workspace across devices.

3. Privacy and Data Security

Data Ownership & Storage

We do not host or store your personal files on our servers. All of your work and personal files are saved directly to your designated remote git repository provider. This design ensures you maintain complete ownership, access control, and the robust security protections provided by your chosen provider.

Session Continuity

To allow you to easily resume your work, we retain a highly limited, functional session configuration file (JSON). This file is used strictly to restore your active workspace, is never shared with third parties, and does not contain your personal files or sensitive credentials.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and encryption keys. You agree not to use Syncshot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, are owned by Syncshot and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Syncshot, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
